For those looking for Travel promotion and planning a vacation this year or next year, why don't you check out this two event early October 2013 :
Virtual Travel Fair Let Travel Deals Come to You
Sixth Virtual Travel Fair Now Available as an App and Offers Flight Deals
Sixth Virtual Travel Fair Now Available as an App and Offers Flight Deals
Kuala Lumpur, 25 September 2013 – SOTA’s Virtual Travel Fair (VTF) is back to tantalise travellers with more attractive travel deals and packages. Aptly themed “Get Online, Let the Travels Come to You,” the sixth VTF will run from 1st to 10th October 2013.
“We have been organizing the VTF since 2011 and in each VTF, we look to bring more and better travel deals to travel buyers. In the last VTF, we have hotel packages being offered by 150,000 hotels worldwide. In this VTF, we have added flight bookings to our stable of travel offerings.” said Rohizam Md Yusoff, Chief Executive Officer of Creative Advances Technology Sdn Bhd (CAT), the company that developed SOTA.
Rohizam added that starting with this VTF, travel buyers can also download the VTF app on their Android devices prior to the commencement of the fair, so they can get alerts and notifications on travel deals and offers once the fair starts.
“Ultimately, our aim is to let travel buyers get the best travel deals without having to go to get them but rather have the deals come to them instead. This is in line with VTF’s proposition of ‘No traffic jam, no jostling crowds and no hassle’ when it comes to getting the best deals at travel fairs. With the strong response we have received for the past VTFs, we are hoping to see 100,000 online visitors in this VTF”, he said.
Joanna Liao, Chief Marketing Officer of CAT said, “We are delighted to have Emirates Airlines and Qatar Airways on board with us for this VTF to offer their flights. In addition, I am also proud to announce that participating agents and hotels in this VTF are not just from Malaysia, but also from Indonesia, Nepal, Philippines and Thailand”.
She added that there will be value deals below RM500 for travel packages in the VTF and also e-auction for travel packages, theme park tickets and hotel accommodation, starting from a bid price of as low as RM10.
Visitors to the VTF website, www.virtualtravelfair.com can start by participating now in the VTF ‘Tag the Bag’ online game as prizes are given out weekly to the top three winners for five consecutive weeks prior to the commencement of the VTF. Prizes of the online game consist of hotel accommodation both in and outside Malaysia, with the grand prize being economy flight tickets to anywhere in Europe for two persons, sponsored by Qatar Airways. There is also an in-game bonus prize of an 8-day Nepal Explorer package sponsored by Mountain Adventure Trekking Pvt Ltd.
“With all these irresistible prizes and offers, we hope travel buyers will get online, get hold of the travel deals at the VTF and win some great prizes at the same time”, ended Liao.
There is a growing trend towards online travel buys among Malaysian consumers as demonstrated by the strong increase of online visitor’s to SOTA’s fifth Virtual Travel Fair (VTF) that had concluded recently.
The Fair in March 2013 saw more than 70,000 Visitors come in and generating a combined enquiry value of RM14 Million.
According to Rohizam Md Yusoff, CEO of Creative Advances Technology Sdn Bhd, the developer of SOTA, the response was amazing as they experienced almost twice as many daily visitors and a triple digit growth of 131% in travel package enquiry value, as compared to the 4th VTF that was held last September.
Now this is your opportunity to not miss out again in this trailblazing event to propel your business into the online travel market.
We are now accepting applications to feature your business for both travel providers and advertisers alike for our upcoming Virtual Travel Fair in October.

LEGOLAND® WATER PARK Ready To Open On 21st October 2013
Nusajaya, 11 July 2013 – LEGOLAND® Malaysia embarks on yet another milestone with the announcement of the official opening for LEGOLAND Water Park. The LEGOLAND Water Park is scheduled to open on 21st October 2013 and is the next phase in the LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort plans that will consist of the Theme Park, Water Park and Hotel.
A LEGOLAND Hotel will open early next year.
Opened on 15 September last year, LEGOLAND Malaysia, the first ever LEGOLAND Park in Asia continues to be a huge success with locals and international tourists. The opening of the Hotel and now the LEGOLAND Water Park will further enhance the LEGOLAND experience for families with 2-12 year old children. The interactive and fully LEGO® themed Water Park will offer more than 20 unique slides, and over 70 LEGO models among its many attractions.
Some of the highlights include the hugely popular Build-A-Raft River and Joker Soaker. The first is a unique concept where children can customise their own raft with soft LEGO bricks before floating down a lazy river. The latter is a
fun interactive platform in the wade pool where children can play with water cannons as a LEGO jester model ‘tells’ jokes while 350 gallons of water pour down upon them.
This will be the largest LEGOLAND Water Park when opened and it will also be the first to have a second gate, which means it can be enjoyed separately or in combination with the Theme Park.
Siegfried Boerst, General Manager of LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort said that the addition will mean families want to make more visits and stay longer. “The Water Park will add a whole new dimension to the LEGOLAND Malaysia
experience. In total, LEGOLAND Malaysia Resort will have more than 70 rides, slides, shows and attractions. This is a unique holiday destination for the entire family to enjoy. It will offer adventure, education and fun for action-packed
day trips or longer breaks. ”
Starting early August 2013, limited numbers of Premium Annual Pass will go on sale. The Pass is valid for both the new Water Park and the Theme Park and will cost RM395. It can be used for 12 months at any time during normal
operating hours including weekends, public and school holidays.
Current Annual Pass holders can also upgrade their Pass to the Premium Annual Pass and information will be updated on the website soon. Visitors will be able to buy Combo Day Tickets in advance online that will allow them entry into both parks.
The much awaited LEGOLAND Water Park will also feature two restaurants, private cabanas for rent and a retail store on-site.
